Darren Romeo To Perform Harry Blackstone Tribute Illusion

LOS ANGELES – January 24, 2002 – Darren Romeo and Blackstone Magik Enterprises today annouced that Darren will feature one of the Blackstone classic illusions, The Floating Light Bulb, in his new show at The Mirage. The famous illusion, performed by both Harry Blackstone Jr. and its creator Harry Blackston Sr., will be presented as a tribute by Darren. Blackstone was the first magician Darren ever saw perform, and it was the gift of a dove from Blackstone which began his creation of a professional magic act.

Gay Blackstone, widow to Harry Blackstone Jr. and President of Blackstone Magik Enterprises Inc., granted exclusive rights for Darren to feature the Floating Light Bulb in his show, thus ensuring the legacy of Blackstone's magic.
