Andrew Lloyd Webber, the critically aclaimed composer, has been an idol of Darren's ever since he began to sing. Darren has long been inspired by musical theatre, as evident in his past and present work. Through his magic, Darren has incorporated themes and/or songs of various musicals, including several written by Andrew Lloyd Webber — Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera, and Aspects of Love.

This photo was taken in January of 2002 after the Darren sat down at the piano with the composer and sang through several songs, including "The Music of The Night". While nothing has been solidified as of yet, the composer's love of magic did lead him to express interest in working on a collaboration with Darren sometime in the future.
